People will be more impressed by what your finish than by what you start.
How we love to start stuff!!! We begin a project with energy as we envision the wonderful result. We enter into a relationship with enthusiasm as we anticipate the rewarding experience. But sometimes the project bogs down or the relationship sours, and rather than taking things to the proper conclusion, we quit. Or course we don't say quit...we prefer to say " lost interest"....
Whatever it is, we need to see it through or else we shouldn't start in the first place. In the world of network marketing...all of us are invested in an opportunity, not a job. Although it's important to treat your opportunity with the same importance and passion you would treat a job that you love...it's important to understand the difference between the two. Perhaps, I'll go into that in another post.... Anyway...moving forward. You are investing in your opportunity. Whether it be time, energy, money or all three, you are investing something. Here's the kicker...unless you are investing all three (time, energy, AND money) you are likely to be unsuccessful.
This principle applies to all different types of relationships. Whether they be business or family relationships, friends or romantic...these three investments make for a healthy and fruitful return.
We shouldn't treat our chosen opportunity as something to sample and then discard when we lose interest. We are to take them seriously and believe that when we begin our opportunity, we need to see it through...otherwise what is the point of investing?
Success seems to be connected with actions. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.-- Conrad Hilton

 | | Awesome blog posting. I am bad about starting projects and not seeing them all the way through. |
| | | | | Great article Sharee, a lot of us, myself included, have a bad habit of starting with a lot of steam and loosing interest before finishing.... thanks for posting. T&L |
| | | | | Absolutely fantastic article and you stick to your word. I love you for that. Too many people start something and never finish or follow through. |
| | | | | Thank you George and Barry! Much success to you both :) Thanks for the share George |
| | | | | Very good read Sharee!
will surely pass it on! |
| | | | | Don't mess with Texans!
Great blog posting and hitting home with the three "investments" you highlighted. |
| | | | | Thanks for all the awesome comment guys! Quitting is like a disease in the network marketing community. Too many people looking for handouts and not willing to invest any effort :( |
| | | | | Great Blog Sharee. I agree with you completely. It is just as important how we finish an endeavour as how we start one. |
| | | | | Great article Sharee, very insightful and full of great advice. Thanks for writing. T&L |
| | | | | Great blog about networking success which applies in so many different ways. It's only natural that once you plant a seed, nothing can stop it from growing with the right conditions...for people, it's called passion and fortitude. Thanks for sharing. |
| | | | | Keep putting out the great content Sharee. As I like to remind people (and that includes me) stop everything and figure out what you want in life. Stay focused on it. Listen to your feelings (which is your GPS). If you follow this path, you won't lose interest because you will only be moving in the direction of your passion. Passion overcomes all hurdles. |
