Of all the world’s sights where would you go to visit? That question is almost impossible to answer. True the sights are beautiful. But after we spend some time seeing the sights. We seen it. Then perhaps the sights becomes quickly boring.
Personally, it is not all about “sight seeing”. What I really enjoy is the people I see and meet along the way. Crowded, elbow to elbow, shoulder to shoulder situations I am not interested in. The casual people watching, the casual conversations with people that I have never met before is one of my greatest joys in life.
When I am out and about in life, in the general public, I try not to miss too much. Generally, each and every outing is special for me. Truly, I am blessed and lucky to be able to, “get out in the general public”, with my two disabilities, Cerebral Palsy and my spinal cord injury from my fall which broke my neck. Other than my private adventure riding around my neighborhood in my wheelchair, someone needs to assist me with driving and strapping my wheelchair in my van.
We just never know what or who we might see. After all most of us are blessed with two good eyes. My second eye makes sure my first eye does not miss anything. Well, that is the way I look at things.
And just perhaps your eating lunch somewhere or on a tour bus and you begin a casual conversation with the person next to you about where they are from and what they do professionally. Chances are everyone is either employed or looking for an opportunity.
