THE SECRET OF MAKING PEOPLE LIKE YOU Communications Around the World

THE SECRET OF MAKING PEOPLE LIKE YOU. There is no real big secret or formula of making people like, you in my opinion. Like the old saying says, "You can not please everyone all the time". And we certainly cannot expect to convince people to change their profession and "jerk them over into other opportunities".
My dad was a practicle joker. He enjoyed life. I knew everyone did not like him. And dad did not like everybody. But I think everyone knew my dad, I mean everyone heard of my dad back home. Dad enjoyed hearing other people laugh. He would help anyone in anyway he possibly could. I admired dad for his jolly funny ways.
I am a bit like that, I enjoy having fun and helping people but my way is a bit different. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and then at the age of 42, I fell off my crutches in the bathroom and broke my neck. Everyday, I still need to get up and do my "IBO things" This gives me joy too. And when the weather is nice, I really enjoy riding around the neighborhood and especially setting in my neighbors driveway, down on the corner. There I set, in my wheelchair, just waving at people driving by. Sometimes my arms get heavy with my wrist weight that i wear to combat my muscle spasms. Yes, this is a daily, moment by moment, life long war I have with this body. And it gets to me some days, my attitude is not always good. This is like, "my mind says yes. My body laughs and tells my mind, no not today with the body pain and bondage from spastic muscles.
But there are no excuses, if I can help someone, somehow, somewhere I will do my best, with this body and damaged brain. That is just one reason, I am here. I am so luck and blessed to have friends world wide from college and certainly the Internet, computer brightens my day too.
There are no excuses. I need to keep trying, plugging away at my "opportunity" to help someone along my journey.
Have a nice day. Thank you for listening. I'll be around, maybe we will connect and help each other.
