Courage takes many forms. There is physical courage, there is moral courage. Then there is a still higher type of courage - the courage to brave pain, to live with it, to never let others know of it and to still find joy in life; to wake up in the morning with an enthusiasm for the day ahead.
Did you ever get up in the morning feeling excited? Knowing that you were going to have a good day. But today is actually not much different than yesterday. This all has to do with our attitudes.
Everyone that knows me, knows that I was born with Cerebral Palsy, “a life in bondage”, to paraphrase in four words. Then at the age of forty-two, I fell down in the bathroom and broke my neck. That just complicated everything and made difficult tasks in everyday life impossible to do. And I will be the first to admit, my attitude, is not so joy able many times.
The best thing that I can do is “get up” out of bed with total assistance and get on this computer. Here my life changes dramatically, this computer can take me around the world, explore new journeys and more importantly express my thoughts and meet wonderful people from all over the world, while my body is trapped in bondage within itself, strapped in the second time, in this wheelchair.
But I am lucky. I am blessed. To have the freedom of imagination. To have a countless number of “Internet Friends” to communicate with. And with that, I am so very, very thankful. Internet Friends, now that is a topic in itself, at another time, another blog.
What is this world all about from person to person? Communications. Where would we be at with out communications, the Internet and the desire to do something good for somebody? All of us can answer that individually.
But take a few moments, relax and think how free video emails would benefit you personally, as well as your business. From where ever you are with Internet connection, you can still be in two places at once, so to speak. You can set down with a cup of coffee and send a quick video email to your mother in the nursing home. Or have a video conference with a brother or sister over seas doing their military service,. Just think of the joy you could give then when they "see your face or hear your voice" from half way around the world. Then a few moments later, with your still first cup of coffee chat with your children's teacher in school or in the day care.
