Welcome to IBOSocial... this is a wonderful community of people, networking with each other while we learn to brand ourselves and market our opportunity online.

Most of my working life, I have been self employed. In my teen years, I worked in my dad's store on Main St., small town, USA. It taught me responsibility and a good work ethic, so, when I was old enough to move out, I moved south to the east coast of central Florida.

I was a hippie (still am) and the east coast had a community of people with many of the same ideals as myself. It was only after I read an article in the Mother Earth News magazine that I knew what I wanted to do to earn a living. When I found out about growing sprouts from seeds and eating them, I fell in love.  I started out growing sprouts in my backyard in 1979 and delivering my product to area health food stores and restaurants in Brevard County.
I sold my first "Living Greens" in 1985, and spent the next 10 years exploring and working in other areas of the healing arts. I was licensed to touch people as a massage therapist; helped folks resolve digestion issues as a colon hydrotherapist, but, I returned to education about healing with living foods when I opened my storefront in 1997. I had my own organic produce market and raw food kitchen for 5 years in Merritt Island, FL. called LIVING GREENS, Sprout Garden, Market & Eatery. We served lunch Monday thru Saturday, started offering classes on raw food preparation and eventually had sit down raw dinners, reservation only, featuring a new "raw food" recipe book. Sometimes the author would be able to be at Living Greens for the event and speak to the diners. I closed that business in November 2002, after our Agricultural Dept. told me I would have to have my sprouts tested for ecoli before I could sell them. Because I became a grandmother that same year, I chose to close the business.

Looking back on all the different hats I wore., I would venture to say that educating folks on the importance of eating whole, organic foods., drinking pure water., getting fresh air daily and connecting with our Mother Earth are vitally important daily routines to develop.

Owning a business is more than a full time JOB., it can become your life. I was fortunate that I loved what I did, so the hours spent growing my business were hours of loving service.

After moving about for the next 14 years, working for others, I am now at retirement age. And recently manifested a place to live where I can have a garden year round and grow tropical fruit trees.

I feel that marketing, getting traffic, is the most important part of any business. IBOToolbox is helping me understand how organic traffic works.  I want to learn how to attract folks interested in what I am sharing online that has to do with health and healing with healthy food choices. I also want to show them how they can share what they are passionate about by using the tools available to develop their interests.
