How many times have you heard this phrase, "I'm/We're on a fixed income"? If you're like me, if you had a dime for each time you heard that phrase, you might be willing to invest that money in the Stock Market. The term is mostly used by retired persons(average age starting in the mid-to late 50's and up). Every time I hear this phrase, I just want to give that person a dramatic slap in the face, like they do in the movies and say...........WAKE UP!!!
The fact is just about everyone is on a fixed income. For example on your job, you're not going to make more money than your immediate supervisor. And they in turn, won't make more than the manager of the department. And the manager(to make a long story short), certainly won't make more than the owner of th company! So I feel that when people say this, they are limiting themselves to possibilities of what may in store for their future.
While this is geared to the possibility of having your own business, it's also for any worthwhile goal or dream that each of us may have. To me, the best way to achieve your goal or dream, is to build to your business to where it will be strong and profitable. Yes, the income will be "fixed" but it will be fixed to your satisfaction, and your dreams will not be limited by the size of your income.
