Here is the last in my series of my top 10 secrets to weight loss. Are you always trying the latest fad diet? Do you diet, lose 10 pounds and then gain it back within a matter of months? Do you try the fad diets or do you try to loose weight naturally?
We all know the top three secrets to a skinny, healthy body. They are to eat healthy foods in their correct proportions, exercise, and get enough sleep. But sometimes that seems like a lot to ask, right?
Why not try one of these 10 weight loss secrets. Here's number ten!
#10 Walk: When you go out, park in the last parking space farthest from the door. Walk quickly to the entrance so you can burn a couple extra calories as you go. And don't be afraid to move your arms a little too.
You don't have to walk for an hour every day. Just start with 5 minutes a day for 3 days a week. The next week walk for 7 minutes a day. Before you know it you'll be walking 30 minutes a day 3 times a week. Start small. You'll keep up with it more that way.
I have a fun app on my iPhone that helps me when I am out walking. It's called Pedometer FREE. It tells you how many minutes, steps, and miles you've walked. 1. Add protein
2. Steam veggies rather than using oil
3. Applesauce in your baking as an oil substitute
4. Eat nuts
5. Drink water
6. Add cinnamon to your daily diet
7. Cooking spray rather than oil
8. Cayenne pepper in your daily diet
9. Eat more leafy greens
10. Walk
There. Those aren't too bad. In fact most of those are pretty easy to incorporate into your life. Why not take 2 or 3 of them and start today?
