A picture is worth a thousand words.
This old saying is especially true when you sell on the internet. People can’t feel or handle the things you sell online so you really need to have quality photos.
When we first started on Etsy, the photography was the most challenging. Those Scrabble tiles are really small and really hard to photograph. I struggled with this for months. We still sold a lot of products with really bad photos. But we got more wholesale orders when our photos looked more professional.
My first photos were just the pendant sitting on some rice or bamboo. They were ...well...um... awful. Now, we show the front and back of each tile so you can see exactly what it is that we're selling.
So if one picture is worth a thousand words…what about 5 photos? Etsy has the space to put up five photos. As a seller, you need to show five different photographs of your product.
People don’t do a lot of reading…so sometimes you need to post of photo of what you’re trying to say. This is why we have the photo talking about chains. We also have the pictures shown with and without chains so people can get ideas of how the pendants can be worn.
Take the time to take great photos of the things you sell on Etsy.
You don’t need to go out and buy a fancy camera. And you don’t need to hire a professional photographer (which we have done). Here’s our secret now. Our photos are taken with our iPhone. There is a little touching up with photo editing software but not much.
Taking great photos just takes practice. It’s a trial and error learning process, but it’s really worth it.
People buy from your photos. Make them good! It’s all about the photo.

P.S. Looking for a good program that will be a huge hit for moms? Make sure it’s one that is not only profitable but also something that’s easy to squeeze into her busy schedule for it to be sustainable.
The one I’ve found (and proven myself) so far is this 3-step ,done-for-you system that gives 100% commissions, allowing moms to make $1,000/day doing only 2-3 hours of work. Watch This Video To Learn More: ibourl.com/tuz
