Well the track opens tomorrow and you can almost feel the vibrations of the cars going around the track.
The sound of them that you hear on TV is very cool, but it does not compare with actually being there in person and hearing them for yourself. It is indescribable and something that you will never forget.
Being from Indianapolis, I have grown up hearing the noise, and it really does make the hair on your neck stand up.
Pole position qualifications start next Saturday, the 19th. I am getting excited just writing about it.
I am sure that there are other events that effect people like this race does me, but being a "Hoosier" it is truly special .
I have never been to the Olympic Games, and can only imagine the excitement there. I would love to go one day, and maybe will. We just never know what the future might bring.
