I have always admired stories where a person overcomes adversity, climbs out of the abyss and forges a path to the pinnacle of success.
These inspirational tales make me realise that in life the key to overcoming any situation is to have a belief in yourself and to make decision to change where you are in life. It is the decision to make the change that is critical to establishing the path to success - it is the actions you take on that decision that will ultimately determine if you succeed.
The online marketing community has an incredible number of people who have become successful because they decided to become successfull and acted on that decision.
But why do so many people become some successful - not just financially, but spritually - through online marketing? In my opinion - there is no other business platform in the world that enables any person to start a business for a few bucks and, through action and focus, achieve success.
What is more incredible is the way that other members of the community applaud the success, celebrate the achievement and acknowledge the journey a person has taken to arrive at the destination they decided to reach. We, as a community, are inspired by the "rags to riches" stories of others who come from places of despair and overcome life's challenges to achieve "greatness".
Compare this to the off line world where people who succeed are often subject to ridicule - as if they don't deserve success. in my part of the world we call this the "tall poppy" syndrome...people become almost obssessive in seeing those that have succeeded being "cut down to size?.
Me - I will stick to the on line world. I will continue to revel in the success of others and celebrate their stories.
We all have a tale to tell - we just have to make a decision to make it happen, then act on that decision. So if you ever doubt that you can succeed, just look at those who have - and remember - we all want to hear your story.
