“I Hate Mondays” electronic rooster, I hate Mondays, I hate Mondays - Control your life, regain control, your life

WARNING – if you don’t hate Mondays like I hate Mondays, then don’t bother reading any further – you just won’t understand what it feels like and how I would like to exist in your world (of course I am working on moving to your world of thinking – it sounds like pure heaven).
DISCLAIMER – “I hate Mondays” is generic in its use of the word Monday. Monday merely refers to the first day of a working week. So for those working rolling rosters or shiftwork please be assured that thiapplies to you as well!!! We’re all in this together!!!
I hate Mondays. Pure and simple, no fluff, no justification, no excuses – I just hate Mondays. The only saving grace – I know that the majority of people feel the same (so at least I’m not a loner on this one).
Why is it that this seems to be the primary day of the week when rolling out of that nice warm bed is so hard? Is it due to the “electronic rooster” (I have had the same “electronic rooster” for 30 years – it just won’t die!!!) dictating that we are now on “someone else’s” schedule? Who knows – but I think it is due to us having to face the reality that, after the joys of owning our time on Saturday and Sunday, we hand back control of our lives to that dreaded word “work”. Regardless of the reason it is a reminder that I hate Mondays.
Now don’t get me wrong – many people love their job, many people love the work they do – that is not the point. In my experience, it’s not whether you love or hate your job or the work you do – it’s the fact that you hand control of your life over to someone else to control – they make the rules on how, when and where your time is to be spent. That’s why I hate Mondays.
I’m not necessarily talking about your boss when I say someone else controls your life (heck they are also having their lives controlled as well and probaly hate Mondays along with the rest of us). Nah, I am talking about “business” (and those at the top who control it – and never seem to be bound by the same rules as the rest of it).
“Business” is a monopoly – it pretty much controls everything we do with our time (except for the token Saturday and Sunday when we get control back – which in itself is a form of punishment – you know, a taste of the good life before returning to misery – the I hate Monday cycle).
I want to break free of this vicious cycle and I bet a lot of you do to. But hey, reality is reality – if you don’t give control of your life to someone else then you don’t get income (as pitiful as that may be – especially when you see the controllers waltzing off with big fat salary packages delivered off the back of your hard work). I wish they could hate Mondays like I hate Mondays (perhaps they do – wouldn’t that be nice!!!).
I have decided that I am going to regain control of my life. I have decided that I am going to ditch the “I hate Mondays” cycle. I want to get rid of my 30 year old “electonic rooster” – consign it to the bin.
Wouldn’t YOU like to do the same?
Deciding to do it is one thing – actually doing it is another – but if I don’t at least try then I will remain in the cycle of having my life controlled. Put another – if I don’t, then I will hate Mondays until someone tells me I can’t work any longer (you know those “you’re to old” to work any more rules). But then my life is controlled by the reality of having my life controlled by a pension etc – I’ll just substitute one controller for another (I may no longer hate Mondays but everyday will still be subject to financial realities of no longer being a worker – bottom line…still no freedom to control my life).
I have taken action though – and I know I am on the right track. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen if I apply myself to the goal and dream. Thankfully I have people who are already in control of their lives who want to help me achieve that as well.
If you want to break free of the “I hate Monday” cycle, then you really need to take action now.
This is where I started on my quest – by simply looking into this opportunity I realised its potential and knew that I could do it. So click here to see where I started my break free strategy. goo.gl/d4pA0 Not only is it a great opportunity in its own right - but I could actually use it to market other opportunities - go figure.
Then I found a community of like-minded people who embraced me and welcomed me, and are wanting to see me succeed. And I got FREE tools and advertising - Incredible. Check it out here goo.gl/J29WG .
And then the topper. A group of people from the community joined together to enter an opportunity as a team. Talk about leverage and skills and outcomes all rolled into one - couldn't miss out on that could I. You can join this opportunity (and gain a team behind you) here. goo.gl/Cuwa7
What more could I ask for?
I will succeed – because my “electronic rooster” really irritates me these days (does yours?), and I am tired of being controlled by others. I really want to say I Love Mondays instead of I HATE MONDAYS.

 | | Very well written. I really enjoyed it. I never really thought about why Monday's stink, but I think you nailed it. Luckily we are all on the way to getting our time back :) |
