I have been marketing via IBO for about 5 months now and continue to love the traffic to my sites, the responses to my blogs and the free/low cost advertising! More than anything else though, I love the relationships I've made here - and some true friendships as well!
One of the things I've learned while here at IBO is to build relationships first, and your business will build from that! Everyone you associate with on IBO will not be interested in your business....but they may know someone that is. However, more than that it's about respect.
On IBO, please DON'T:
- Message people about your product or opportunity as your first contact with them
- Instant message people with links about your product/opportunity
- Always blog only about your product/opportunity
DO:
- Reach out to new associates and say hello. Tell them a little about you. Ask about them!
- Blog about ideas and tips that you can share to help others.
- Instant message associates with a "hello, how are you today?" Ask about THEIR business!
IBO is here to help you - but it's not all about you! Help others and be interested in others and their businesses and they will do the same for you! You may find that you can build some good relationships and make some friends too!
