What Are Your Goal Killers?

We talk about it all the time - goal setting! Long term, short term, monthly, weekly & daily...and more! But how are we reaching those goals - or what is holding us back? There are some goal killers out there.
One is inaction! You cannot wish your way to success. Your goals will not simply complete themselves! You need to do the work! You need to take action! Many a person has joined a business all to say within a few weeks or a few months "It doesn't work." In many cases, that person sat on their hands and did not follow the system. You have to stay plugged in. You have to talk to people. You have to build relationships. If you don't do these things - the goals will not be met. It's that simple.
Rejection is another goal killer. A little rejection goes a long way. Have one person - especially a person that is family or friend - tell you no. Let that one person in your life that you respect and admire tell you - "this isn't going to work" or "it's a scam" and it freezes you in your tracks! How do you get past this? The word I use is "next!". Still love my family & friends who do not understand or see the business or the service and am not going to let it be a relationship wrecker. But I am also not going to let it be a goal killer! My opportunity & service is not for everyone - and neither is yours! Keep showing your plan, service or product and the right people will join your team or be your customer!
And of course, you have to actually set the goals! What do you want to accomplish today, this week, this month, this quarter or this year? Where do you see yourself in 2 years? In 5? Write it down, form an action plan, figure out what works and what doesn't work and stay plugged in! Love your family and friends and when they don't see your business, find the ones that do!
