When you switch to Ambit Energy as your supplier for electricity and natural gas, you don't just get savings, you also get the opportunity to earn free energy! In that opportunity is another opportunity to help people that you know & love to save and earn free energy as well!
This is how it's worked for me: I live in New York State. In New York State we get "guaranteed savings" of at least 1% as an Ambit Energy customer (unlike up to 16, 17, 18 and even 30% in other markets!)! For me that was enough to switch! Once cent that the incumbent utility was not going to get and that would stay in my pocket was well worth the switch to me! During my first full year with Ambit Energy I saved 3% - which totaled about $21. Our average electric supply comes to about $60 a month.
The other thing I did was invite several family and friends to also switch to Ambit Energy so they could save and also earn free energy. When I referred 15 people that paid their bill on time, Ambit is taking the average of the supply cost of those 15 people and then I get that amount in a check from Ambit every month! The more people that you refer, the more people go into the average! So in other words, if you have 18 people that you referred - Ambit takes the average of those 18 referrals bills and that is what you get in your check!
For me, this will come as a rebate from Ambit Energy of about $420 a year! Wow! Now keep in mind that others in my area have low bills like me. I think my father's supply charge is only about $40 a month. Most people I know and have referred to Ambit for my free energy have electric supply bills of $40-60 per month. If you know people with higher bills, refer them under you for a higher free energy check! (although keep in mind that you can only get a check for up to the amount of your supply that same month. If the average of those you have referred comes to more than your supply - you get what you paid for the supply. In other words, of your supply was $80 and the average of your referrals bills was $100...you will get a check for $80).
So savings and free energy - along with Ambit's travel reward point system, could get you a really nice vacation! Or spend your free energy checks to go out to dinner once a month, or to buy that new purse you've been wanting, or some new apps for your phone...think of what you could do with that extra money!
