Sandy Casie   My Press Releases

If you live in the USA and get called for jury duty, here is information you need to know!

Recently I was called for jury duty and while serving is suppose to be an honor as a US citizen......there are many factors about the legal system that I am not honored when having to judge my peers.

I have often wondered how laws are decided in each state?  Like are our politicians and law makers sitting around a round table with donuts and coffee discussing what irratates them because some laws are just downright outrageous.

My other problem with this whole legal system is: Many courts will not allow previous criminal activity to be discussed.  You can only decide on the case at hand, yet many times people commit terrible crimes in the past and the jury will never know about that!  How can you expect a jury to get all the facts about the person being tried in a court of law based on the case at hand when their past can easily bring you to an proper verdict.

Here are a few examples

And what's even more outrageous is the law officer who enforces these laws and things like this actually have a trial if the convicted want to be judged by a jury.

That is where JURY NULIFICATION comes in and what every US citizen needs to know and understand.

Keep in mind that while lawyers and judges are employees of the court and must abide by the written laws, you are not!

Here is a video that explains but keep in mind if you get on a jury just to nullify you can be charge with purgery.

What lawyers & judges
won't tell you about juries

Perhaps now I peeked your interest and you want to know more so if you are called for jury duty you have a better understanding so here is a case that I am sure many are familiar with.....

Jury Nullification in the Zimmerman Case

Now don't get me wrong....I am not saying you shouldn't serve on a jury but I do believe we should know ALL our choices when coming to a conclusion of a verdict.

Jury Nullification: Why Every American Needs to Learn This Taboo Verdict

In closing.....if a judge ever asks you this question below

You now have the right answer

And if it isn't asked, don't be afraid to ask if it is going to be explained to the jury.
