Sometimes we experience something or learn a new thing, but don't really get the power behind it until later. Can you relate to that?
This powerful song www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlI0WW1sV4Y&feature=related was released in 1999 and I didn't get it because I was in a different point in my life. I was focused on small goals and had "tunnel vision". A lot of things have changed since then, which have opened the world up to me. For some reason, the song just "popped" in my head this morning and I finally got it.
I wasn't thinking about baseball, the artist, or anything connected to the song. I have been thinking about success and focused on my goals. Amazingly, my subconscious mind made the connection for me and now I am sharing it with you. You really do have everything you need to be successful - you just have to change your focus and continue to open up the "doors" in your mind.
Immediately, I was reminded of an old saying, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." This is a great example of that and when I listened to the words of the song, I got goosebumps. The power of the words and the message behind it are life changing if we choose to apply them. Here is another example of the power of beliefs:
"I am the greatest and I said I was even before I knew it" - Mohammed Ali
What a great quote! It tells us the result and the steps to accomplish it - all in one sentence! Most of us have great dreams and huge goals, but how many of us take time to remind ourselves that we are the greatest?
I know - some people ask, "What if I don't believe it or feel that way?" The answer is simple, say it until it becomes reality. Most people spend so much time caught up in rejection, failure, and negative thoughts. They are trapped in their thinking. The great news is - YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT!
Donald Trump said, "I figured that I have to think anyway, so I decided to think big!" Again, another powerful quote that is a testament to the power of your thoughts and what you choose to focus on.
