When To Use JPEG, GIF, PNG File Types

Published on 4/9/2015
For additional information  Click Here

Hi there,

Do you know when to use certain graphic file types?

When working with images, certain file formats may be better than others, dependent upon your objectives.

Below, I've included an interesting and helpful infographic showcasing the best uses for JPEG, GIF, and PNG file formats.

There's more detailed information.

FYI:  The shared informtion comes from Who Is Hosting This and is being utilized to assist anyone in choosing the correct file type when saving an image.

JPEG - Reduces file size up to 15%, without losing quality; great for web pages with faster uploads and less storage space usage.

GIF -  Allow for transparency and animation; they're best for simple images with few colors.

PNG - Great for logos, and depending on the file size, it may display more attractively than a JPEG or GIF.

You might find this information helpful as you began to blog, or work on your website.

If you've never blogged a day in your life, and you would love to learn to tell your story, and help others through your blog, you've come to the right place.

Getting started is easy.

I would love the opportunity to help you along the way.

Please leave your feedback; start a conversation.

Thank you for stopping in and for taking the time to read my Press Release.

No matter who you are or where you are in your life, you are incredibly and uniquely designed.

God's Blessings to you and yours!
