"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."
This is a concept that my friend, Joe Schroeder, voiced a long time ago.
And boy does it make sense!
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."
All aspects of life have something in common.
They're all a journey of one kind or another.
For example, life is a journey from ignorance to wisdom.
Travel is a journey from one place to another.
Business is a journey to either success or failure.
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."
In all things, you have to START your journey to reach your destination.
If you don't start, you can't/won't finish.
If you plan and plan and plan and never start,
even though you planned for every contingency,
you'll never get to where you want to go.
Never.
You won't go from ignorance to wisdom, you won't go from here to there,
you won't achieve either success OR failure.
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."
Once you do get it going, it's easier to keep it going.
Make the necessary adjustments as you go.
Be flexible in your thinking.
Adapt to meet circumstances as they occur.
And this is important:
NEVER EVER GIVE UP.
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."
So, get it going.
