I cannot believe this took so long. But I guess I should be happy the court system is making sure they do things by the book, to keep the defense from coming back later talking about rights being violated. This man knows that he did something he should not have done. He knows he profiled this young man. He knows he lied about the FACTS. He knows he lied about the amount of finances he had. He knows he is not being truthful about what he was overheard saying on the 911 tape. He knows that he benefitted from having a father who has clout in the business of law. He knows that he has prejudice and preconceived feelings towards black people (men in particular) He knows that his so-called injuries were not life threatening and were more than likely self-inflicted. He knows that it was not he who was yelling for help and he probably feels that he is going to be punished for murdering an unarmed teen.
Looks as if Zimmrman would have a much better chance with a not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity plea than with an incredulous plea of self defense! Self defense is just NOT going to fly in this case! But this defendant’s insanity is now apparent.
Zimmerman is no dummy, he has tasted jail food and smelled the stench of unshowered bodies. The unbridled noise and the big eyes with sweaty faces peering lustfully at him. I would have taken the extra pasport and 100 Gs for a long ride. Carrying a gun can have the opposite affect. A gun can make a coward into beast. I’m telling you, without the gun, the confrontation would not have happened. Z would have followed from a safe distance and T would have gone home. Who wants to get hit with a two piece with no back up. Walking up on a hooded fellow of any color is risky business. When you attempt to control the thing that you fear, be mindful that there may be a battle. “Do not fake at uprising, but once the battle has begun, be prepared to go the distance.
