Approach can be difficult at times, but we have to understand that our focus should be on the customer’s wants or desires – remember it’s not about us.
Be excited - Always create interest….
Based on past knowledge, it’s best to understand and provide what the prospect wants; Let them ask you as many questions as they need to, and provide adequate answers - that’s a good thing.
Know your products – recommendations are good and if at all possible, give samples before they commit to be your customer or business partner.
Don’t sell, build relationships; Become very sociable without selling your business.
Always start and end your conversations with a question. Remember, the most important person in the conversion is not you – it’s the prospect.
Be committed – set goals to talk to a number of people daily and try to meet these goals; should you miss a day, be sure to make it up before the week is out.
