As one goes through life, at some time or another, he or she can be faced with many challenges ~ especially when it comes to marketing and sales.

Some of these challenges are solvable; some are in the process of been resolved; yet, others may cause him or her to become bewildered and/or at times, discouraged.

“There is a sort of gratification in doing good which makes us rejoice in ourselves.” ~ Michel De Montaigne

One is pleased when he or she finds resolution to a crisis; but, is this gratification true fulfillment?

"By continually pushing the message that we have the right to gratification now, consumerism at its most expansive encouraged a demand for fulfillment that could not so easily be contained by products." ~ Ellen Willis

If one plays the lottery and keeps losing, he or she will not want to keep taking chances, knowing that they will only end up deeper in debt; they would even change their way of playing and try different methods to see if they can win. Sometimes, by even holding back the amount they would normally play.

“The gratification of wealth is not found in mere possession or in lavish expenditure, but in its wise application.” ~ Miguel de Cervantes

One becomes appreciative after showing kindness to, or helping another in need. It’s always a pleasure to serve and been appreciated for ones service.

“As we get past our superficial material wants and instant gratification we connect to a deeper part of ourselves, as well as to others, and the universe.” ~ Judith Wright
