"Be wise in the way you live around those who are not Christians.  Make the most of every opportunity.  Speak with them in such a way that they will want to listen to you. Do not let your conversation sound foolish. Know how to give the right answer to anyone." ~ Colossians 4:5-6

 

When in conversation with others does one thinks before he or she speaks; are their words helpful and encouraging, or are they hurtful and damaging?

 

It’s my belief that, words of discouragement constantly linger in one thoughts, more than when one encourages another.

 

“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a word of encouragement does wonders!" ~ Proverbs 12:25

 

In order for one to be a great source of encouragement; he or she should always think before they speak; for, by our words we will be justified, and by our words we are condemned…

 

"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only helpful words; the kind that builds up and provides what is needed, so that what you say may give grace to those who hear you." ~ Ephesians 4:29

 

Words can be encouraging as well as wounding; so, one should choose when to speak, and what to say, in order to promote encouragement, harmony and peacefulness to others…

 

"Thoughtless words can wound as deeply as any sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing." ~ Proverbs 12:18

 

Always speak words of encouragement!
