We Acknowledge, But One Motive; To Follow The Truth, As We Know It, Whithersoever, It May Lead Us… Mortimer Adler

Every Entrepreneur have had reasons to start a business, and by identifying that reason or motive, prospecting can be made easy…

One's motive can be time freedom – spending more time with his or her family; another, debt freedom – paying off all your bills without owing anyone; or, to wake-up when he or she is finished sleeping; could be, to go on vacation without having to request time or rushing back before he or she is ready; and a very important reason, not working for anyone or punching a time-clock…

When prospecting, it's best for one to find out the real reason a prospect wants to go into business or use his or her product; then, he or she can fulfill their needs with what's best for them.  It's not recommended to sign up a prospect as an associate, knowing full-well that they are only interested in using the product, or vice versa…

One should always remember to encourage his or her prospect, to ask as many questions as possible; then he or she can determine by their questions what their motive is; whether wanting to partner with him or her, and present the opportunity to fit or fulfill the prospect’s needs.

"We acknowledge but one motive - to follow the truth as we know it, whithersoever it may lead us; but in our heart of hearts we are well assured that the truth which has made us free, will in the end make us glad also." ~ Mortimer Adler
