Appreciation Is The Highest Form Of Prayer, For It acknowledges The Presence Of Good, Wherever You Shine The Light Of Thankful Thoughts… Alan Cohen

"The aim of life is appreciation; there is no sense in not appreciating things; and there is no sense in having more of them if you have less appreciation of them." ~ Gilbert K. Chesterton

Although one may be faced with hardship, it’s best for him or her to appreciate, and manage with, what they already have, and be assured that, there will be improvement in their situation…

“What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it – would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.” ~ Ralph Marston

It can be difficult at times, for one to appreciate what he or she already has, especially when looking from the outside, at another person’s life,  who seems very happy and more prosperous than he or she is; however, as the saying goes: ‘the grass always seems greener on the other side’.

“Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts.” ~ Alan Cohen

One may look with jealousy, at a neighbor who’s living 'the big life’; until he or she realizes that it’s all an illusion.  They are deeper in debt than one can imagine.

"The greatest humiliation in life, is to work hard on something from which you expect great appreciation, and then fail to get it." ~ E. W. Howe

Grateful and Victorious Velma
