"Leadership is solving problems.  The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems, is the day you have stopped leading them.  They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care.  Either case is a failure to leadership." ~ Colin Powell

While growing up, parents often tell their children, to become leaders, and not followers.  However, whenever these children extends him or herself to make a difference, some parents have doubts and anxiety, knowing the dangers these kids may be faced with, since many have lost their lives, as he or she also, endeavored to make a change.

"When you encourage others, you, in the process are encouraged because you're making a commitment and difference in that person's life.  Encouragement really does make a difference." ~ Zig Ziglar

As one experiences life, he or she strives to be the best that they can be; simultaneously, make a difference.  Concurrently, one prepares his or her children to lives the same way; becoming good citizens in the community, with hopes that they too, will also make a difference to society.

"It's easy to make a buck; it's a lot tougher to make a difference." ~ Tom Brokaw

Sometimes, one may be faced with danger as he or she strives to make a difference; nevertheless, one should start by doing small things, and as he or she gets out of their comfort zones, they can elevate to greater things; hence, strive to make a difference in someone else’ life.
