Some of you may think this is a silly article, but really, we can get inspirational lessons from babies!
How? Simply by paying close attention to their activities!
Inspirational Lessons – #1
– > Innocence
Just look at how babies are so free to do what they wish and never get into any trouble? That happiness and smile just really gets to the best of us. On the other hand, adults get drowned in information, and we have lost our innocence to overload of information. Who cares about what others think of you. If you want to laugh out loud, then just do it.
Inspirational Lessons – #2
– > New Learning & Curiosity
As I read in one of my psychology text books, babies have unlimited amounts of curiosity to explore and learn, as suspected from the evolutionary theory. If you turn your back for 5 seconds, your little one may be out of sight! Why do adults let curiosity disappear? As we get older, we get away with less, like a baby would, so fear often comes into play. If an adult wants to start a new business, for example, and heard a negative remark, then a new path will likely be taken. The answer lies in the fact that a baby will not care what you think or say… curiosity continues. If you tell a baby to stop playing with the toy ball, then you turn your back for a second, the baby will be right back to playing with the ball.
Inspirational Lessons – #3
–> Life In The ‘Now’
Babies always live their lives in the present. They don’t focus on yesterday or tomorrow. Adults get too focused on the past and the future. Focus on the ‘now’ only. Then, build yourself up to your future goals. If you cannot be happy with yourself now, how can you be happy one, five, or even ten years from now?
Inspirational Lessons - #4
–> Natural Struggle
Babies struggle to crawl, walk, and do other activities, but they do not give up. This is the way we learn. Struggle is natural, so why do adults give up more easily on a task or goal? Why do we look for the ‘lazy ways’ to do things, but babies don’t? Get in tune with your inner self and ask how you can fulfill your dream(s). Remember, no successful person got to where they are, without a struggle.

–> Forgiveness
Have you ever heard the expression, forgiveness sets you free? A baby never holds anger. If you know a baby that holds a grudge, God bless… but, babies are so forgiving. We can learn a lot from this behaviour. Ask yourself what you will get out of the situation, as a benefit, for not forgiving someone else? We are only human, and we make mistakes, so forgive and forget. Forgiveness is something everybody needs to practice and implement in their lives. Have a great heart, because when you help others grow, you grow even more.
Inspirational Lessons - #6
–> Trust
Babies put a lot of trust into adults. We are their heroes, in some instances. You probably have seen parents toss their babies in the air and catch them, making the baby laugh, instead of cry. This is how trust is. Babies never think about the “what if” factors. Adults have a lack of trust with others, as they go through life, simply because it is learned. If you stop living your life in fear, you can trust people, thus building solid, wonderful relationships.
