When I was going through my earlier stage of menopause, there was just a lot of it I didn’t know, understand and had no clue; as to what was going on with my body. There were many questions always in my head because I needed to know and wanted to know. A question would come to mind like whom do I talk to about this? Do I go to a doctor? Am I going to have this for the rest of my life? Then there came thoughts and more questions about words that had to deal with menopause such as hormone. Well, I didn’t even know what a hormone was much lest how it affected my body as I was going through menopause? I looked up the word hormone and the description was pretty hard for me to understand at first but I had to read it over and over again. This is what I got out of it to mean.
A hormone imbalance is when there is too little or too much of a particular hormone in one's body. Hormones are the chemical messengers in the body that travel the bloodstream to the organs and tissues. They slowly work and affect many of the body's processes over time. Endocrine glands, which are special groups of cells, make hormones.
This was enough of a description for me to comprehend. There are many more medical terms used to explain what hormones are and what they do. Perhaps I think this will make it simple for you by watching this video.
Now that you have a understanding of the imbalance of hormones in your body; this gives you a clearer understanding why menopause works the way it does. Get your balance back with the right natural supplement and avoid being imbalanced.
