When I seen the title of this chapter(Think & Grow Rich) it made me think of
the many decisions I have had to make in my adult life. There were some big
ones and small ones and some very serious ones. The timing in making these
decisions were critical. Meaning that there were times when I did not have a
lot of time to get it together. Then there were times when I could get it
together at my own pace.
I know that I have not always weighed all of the ins and outs of making the
many decisions that I had to make. I now know that in order to make a decision
clearly you have to have a sound mind and be rested. If you don’t have this it
can be very damaging to the results that you get from that decision.
When I made my decision to do Network Marketing, with the previous company I was
with; I did it quickly and with strong conviction. There was a high level of
excitement. I could see me having my own online business. Ideas, thoughts and
creativity would come to me and I would instantly entertain the ideas, thoughts
and creativity and make a split decision to follow through with it. But, little
did I know later as time moved on with me being involved with this company, the
excitement level was diminishing. I knew that there was more to being involved
with this type of business but somehow I could not put my finger on it.
Nevertheless, I still stood on the idea of me having my own online business
anyway. Because the thought of making the kind of money that would allow me to be
free from all of the everyday financial issues, to survive from day to day lead
me to a long term goal for myself and my children’s children. I just knew that.
I kept saying this could happen. I was so determined and motivated to make it
happen some kind of way. I made the decision to keep searching on the Internet
until I could get some kind of answers to why I felt that this company was not
right. I must say that I feel pretty good that I followed my gut feelings. Why?
because just like back then when I knew that it wasn’t right and I stood on that
feeling all the time and my determination to find the right answers this made me
know that I was on to something.This is when I realized I was making a real
business decision.
Now I must point out that I didn’t experience the failure and frustration in
building a network marketing business, like most of the veterans of MLM, I got
out of it just in time! WOW talking about timing and making a decision. I think
it was really GOOD!This was a turning point for me to make a business decision.
I had to search this matter out myself until I came up with something that
made me feel good about it and sure. Well, through my searching I found Mentoring
For Free, was on one of my social networking sites. Just the name it’s self jumped
out at me. Then I seen the name of the gentleman (Luther Brotherton III) phone
number and beside it; it said anytime. So upon reading that I made a split second
decision to call. I felt that I had something. Even though I didn’t have a clue
to what mentoring was. It was at that point that the man I was speaking with gave
me the spill on what Mentoring For Free is. Right then and there I knew I had it!
Education.....Skills, those words laid with me well. That was what was missing
from the other company that I didn’t get.
When Luther, gave me instructions on what to do I was excited! Woo Hoo!!
He assured me that he would and could help me. The encouragement that he
gave me that day and days since is just PHENOMENAL! When I got off the phone
all I could say is WOW, WOW, WOW!
I encourge you to make a good and sound business decision to acheive the best succes
that you are reaching for.
