KOREAN DRAMA WITCH’S LOVE REVIEW

Another fantasy romantic comedy is done airing on small screens. And here is our Korean drama Witch’s Love review.

The story depicted a story of modern-day witches as they explored romance, especially Cho Hong (Korean drama actress Yoon So Hee), the youngest of the three. Cho Hong possessed the superhumanstrength and telekinesis. She also worked for her grandmothers’ restaurant as a delivery woman.

On the other hand, Ma Sung Tae (Korean drama actor Hyun Woo) was a rich martial artist who carried a trauma from his childhood days. He owned the building wherein the restaurant of the witches was situated.

As Sung Tae tried to solve whether or not his memories were correct, he looked for the building that he saw the night he was abducted. Because of the witches trying to erase his memories, there were some that he lost and some got twisted.

Nonetheless, when he found the building he was taken some 25 years back then, he met Cho Hong and her witch grandmas. At first, he wanted to discover what was behind the rice soup they were selling. He also looked for some evidence that he was indeed taken there when he was a child.

Before he knew it, he fell in love with Cho Hong, the witch. Although she was fresh from a heartbreak and lost her powers, she had already some encounters with Sung Tae. Upon approaching a witch who used black magic, trying to get her powers back, she was destined to find her true love.

This plot was quite refreshing for viewers. The ups and downs that the two main characters experienced were quite authentic — in a way. That is, if it were to happen in the real world.

The chemistry of Hyun Woo and Yoon So Hee, on the other hand, was quite good and cute. Personally, the must watch Korean drama was truly entertaining. Hence, in this MBN drama Witch’s Love review, we give it five stars out of five.
