Here is a new film with Korean actor Yoo Ah In. Titled Sovereign Default, the K-star takes on the role of a financier.

Yoo Ah In is someone who bets everything on the crisis of national bankruptcy. Together with him in the cast are Kim Hye Soo, Heo Joon Ho, Vincent Cassel and Jo Woo Jin.

The upcoming Korean movie tells a story about the week before the national bankruptcy. In it, there is someone who is trying to prevent the crisis, also a person who is betting on the crisis and someone who is ordinary who wishes to protect his family and the company.

Yoo Ah In has been building a solid foundation in his acting by doing movies. He starred in Punch, The Throne, Veteran and last year’s Burning. Now, he takes on the role of Yoon Jeong Hak. He is a financier who quits his job. Then, he tries to turn this national crisis into a great opportunity for him.

Yoon Jeong Hak utilizes the national bankruptcy crisis to take a risky bet to have a great opportunity to change his life. He resigns from his job and rounds up investors.

As the economic crisis emerges, he is able to succeed. However, he cannot hide his bitterness when his expectations are fulfilled, through depicting the reversal of the IMF Crisis. He has a faithful instinct and desire to invest in the crisis.

The 32-year-old star has tried to veer away from the typical character of Yoon Jeong Hak. He studied the script hard, and in the end, he immersed himself into the year 1997, the story’s setting.

In addition, the production claims that the actor fit the production perfectly. Watching him communicate with his role was fun to watch.

Upcoming Sovereign Default K-movie will premiere on Nov. 28.
