What Do Your Feelings Have To Do With Your Goals?

Have you ever succumbed to allowing your feelings and emotions to keep you from performing a necessary task to get you closer to your goal? Yeah well, where will do you think you will end up if you keep allowing that to happen? Don't allow it to happen again!

Remember the word commitment. Yes Commitment is doing the thing you said you would do long after the mood you set it in has passed. You have to remain committed to your goals. Even when  you don't feel like doing a task that's pushing you toward your goal, you have to do the task. Your feelings have nothing to do with your goals. If you continue to allow your feelings to stop you from pushing toward your goals, the time will pass and your goal will not be complete.

This video was inspired by something Ray Higdon talked about in his Facebook Live. It struck a nerve with me because I have been guilty of allowing my feelings to get in the way of performing my activities for reaching the goal that I'm wanting to achieve. Everyone goes on an emotional rollercoaster, however the Slight Edge Philosphy should be reembered to keep you insipred and pushing forward toward the goal that you set. If your goal is not driving you any longer, you may need to re-evaluate it and set a new one. There is no sense in setting a goal if you are not willing to take action toward achieving it.

Thanks for reading, listening and watching,
