Wealth 6 : The Mean millionaire (Part 2)

The Mean Millionaire (Part 2) is an original copyright Press Release sent from my happy home in the sunny south of Portugal.

Many hugely successful and wealthy entrepreneurs are, far from being mean, extremely generous. On the other hand, much of the populace at large are raging spendthrifts. By comparison to them anyone else, not just the super successful, may well appear mean but this is simply not so.

And many of the masses, in order to justify their own lack of productivity, personal discipline, success and achievement and their unwillingness to make any effort to improve their lot, prefer to blame someone else for their situation and mock achievers by calling them mean. But this is just another aspect of the 'blame culture', so rife in modern society, at work.

Often this attitude takes on a more sinister character. 'Joe Public', unable to accept that wealthy self-starters work harder and smarter and think more clearly than he, accuses the wealthy entrepeneur of being a cheat, crook or con man. How often have you heard of successful people being spoken of in just that way? But with no justification other than that the super achiever is successful!

But whatever people at large may think about 'Mr.Success', one thing is certain. He is going about his business quite differently from most of the general public. And if you want to be successful and wealthy then you too must do things differently from all the others.

POWER POINT - “Those who wish to become successful and wealthy and achieve great things must think and act totally differently from the general public.”

Here is something you can try. Try to go through one whole day without spending a single dime. When you succeed, and it won't prove easy, try two consecutive days, then three and so on. You'll be surprised at how much spending you can eliminate when you really try. Of course, under and none achievers rarely try this, they'd never think to.

Also apply the practice to bigger spending. See what items you really can eliminate from your expenditure when you really apply yourself to the task. There are so many things that people consider necessary but which in reality are not.

Successful entrepreneurs, the super wealthy especially, understand this and tend to concentrate any 'spending' only in areas that give them a higher return (more money back) than what they've spent. So they're not really spending anything at all. They are making money!

So try to concentrate your brain, your subconscious especially, on your personal money management. Concentrate on ways of only spending on bare necessities and on things which will earn you more money in return. When you do change your attitude and your mindset, thinking and acting very simply and very clearly, then you in turn run the risk of becoming the butt of 'Joe Publics' jokes and mindless comments. But you also run the risk of becoming successful and wealthy.

Which do you prefer?
