Here‘s good news for blood pressure sufferers.

 For years, medical experts have warned people with blood pressure issues to stay away from fries, cookies, and chocolate…

 They urged us to avoid everything that might contain ‘bad’ fats. 

And they insisted that these nasty substances can clog your arteries, lead to deadly heart or brain problems and even rob you of freedom and independence as you age.

 

But now it turns out that these warnings are only half right.

 Saturated fats are still not considered ‘healthy’, a new study suggests that you can eat much more of your favorite foods without the deadly consequences.

 

According to the researchers of this study, our bodies do not actually absorb all of the ‘bad’ fats that we eat.

 It appears that we flush excess bad fats out of our systems as waste instead of absorbing them into the bloodstream where they build up and choke arteries.

 The researchers demonstrated this by gathering a group of volunteers.

 They put each volunteer on a strict diet where their fat and carbohydrate intake were controlled rigidly.

 After 18 weeks, the researchers measured each volunteer’s artery health.

 

They found that volunteers who ate twice as much fatty foods during the study saw no increase in artery clogging guck.

 

That’s right - no adverse effect on artery health!

It’s not fair!

 

Someone offers you a delicious treat and you have to turn it down because your doctor told you to watch what you eat.

 

You get cravings for cookies, but you have to resist with all your willpower. You have dinner out with your family, but the only thing you can eat without feeling guilty is salad.

 

While this study doesn’t encourage you to eat more tasty foods like chips, cookies, and chocolate containing ‘bad’ fats, it does suggest that you can treat yourself a little more often.

 Of course, I recommend that you wait for further research to confirm this conclusion before changing your diet.
