IBO short URLS are great for personal branding. They are simple to create and show your picture as well as other information which will enhance your brand. There is no HTML required to create these and after you have made a few it takes very little time.
Does your link look like this? www.somecompany/yourname/qra1 ? If it does it is simple to slip your sign up link and go to the website. There are more people than you know who would rather not sign up under another person although it doesn’t make sense. With an IBO short URL if they remove the end it takes them to IBO social.com. Although they can go to longURL.com and find out what the link is as well as slip it not many people spend the extra time it takes to do it.
Yes there are many programs which cloak links. Some offer value and at least one pays you to use theirs. What you have to consider is what you want a person to see when they see your links. In internet marketing as people see your face more they realize you are a serious marketer. Most people have to see a website six to ten times before they sign on the dotted line. This is unless they see so much perceived value they are putting their information in the first time. When they see the same face constantly on different sites it is value in their eyes.
What makes an IBO short URL different?
The majority of people read across the top of what they see first. They start on the left which with an IBO short URL contains your picture, how many likes you have on the IBO platform and how many people have commented on blogs you have written on the platform. Next they will see a box which says and leads to any videos you have on your IBO profile.
Following on the right is a box which contains the blogs you have written on the platform. In the next box are two links one is learn more which when they click takes them to a question box. The other works when you are logged into the platform and is a live chat application. The last thing they see before their eyes start looking down the right is your ranking on IBO and your social networks. Below is where they will see the website.
If you have a video about the website the visitor is on and a blog using the same keywords talking about your experience with the website, will show you as an expert? Will it as well show your brand as different from another who only shows the website?
