All right your asking yourself what does sharing something personal have to do with an internet marketer? The truth is more than you know. Each person is unique and have memories and information that others will not have. Perhaps it is just something they do that works and believe is worth sharing.
These unique experiences are of interest to others. Sometimes they see something similar to themselves or which create an interest that would not be possible otherwise. Each person needs to learn how to use those things about them which are different for a few reasons.
What could possibly be more original than something which is your personal experience? Used with other information which is believed to be of importance to the reader it cuts the amount of possible duplicate content. More unique words are used which is something Google loves.
Sharing something personal is something which should also be used in comments made on blogs and can be used if short enough even in ads placed on ad boards. Sharing a little something that is personal to you has a tendency to build trust. People like being friends with people they feel they can trust. It is easier to listen to a friend about a product, service, or way to earn money than someone who feel they don‘t know. Telling not selling is the best solution for an internet marketer.
When my wife and half brother went to my stepfathers funeral there was a man there they believed to be me. There were many similarities, hair color, hair length, facial features, weight, eye color, clothing choice, and he was also wheelchair bound. They sat through the entire service thinking he was me. When the service ended they of course went up to him. The minute he spoke they knew they had made a mistake.
They did stay and talk to him and found he was a distant relative. His life had been totally different from mine. This made him unique with his own stories to tell. Although there may be others who look like you or even think similarly each person is in reality one of a kind.
When they returned home they called and told me about this meeting. They also asked why my stepfathers funeral had not been graced by me. They were shocked when they found they were the ones who let me know he had passed. The people who were taking care of me felt it better not to tell me. When they received the call my body had been behind a steering wheel driving for thirty eight hours and upon my arrival ten hours later bed was the main thing my body needed. By the time this sleep was over the funeral had ended.
Sharing something personal, usually not as long as the three paragraphs above give the reader knowledge of something which happened personally to me. There may be other people who had something similar happen but there won’t be many. In any case all the circumstances won’t be the same. As an internet marketer building trust is important. This sharing of something personal can benefit you in more ways than you know.

| | | | | Thanks Ed for dropping by and commenting. As hard as it is for some people you have to be willing to share part of who you are. This is more true with phone conversations. You want to have both parties on the phone relaxed so you can find a need to fill. |
