Internet marketing and list building how to, list building, websites,
VISIT WEBSITE (learn more)
|
As an internet marketer one of the most important aspects of business is list building. If you depend on one time sales with only one visit to your site you had better have something very amazing which customers can’t live without. The percentage of people who buy the first time they see something is very low. Most people want to take time to decide, and when they do if your not in front of them they are going to buy some place else.
Having an opt in form with an offer of interest to your audience is your way to stay in front of people who have visited your site. The general rule is a person won’t buy until they have looked at a product eight times. This doesn’t mean you are going to force the issue it just means they will have your link when they are ready. Emails are to build trust, we don’t know about you but we don’t trust people who force things upon us.
When you are putting together an auto responder series you want to think about what you would personally want to receive from another business. Do you want to feel like you know about the person or company you are buying from? Is nothing but information and links what you pay attention to? If interest hasn’t been created how long do you stay on someone’s list?
Information of value is one of the ways to invite people to your list. Some say offer something free which has value to the reader, others say charge at least something because it “keeps the freebie lookers away”. Both say their system works. As an internet marketer each person has to make their own choice about how they will do their list building. We believe an auto responder series should be about creating interest in you. In the internet world the life of a product is often short, however if you intend making a living, if you have kept readers interested in you, sales with new products can continue.
We personally don’t like clichés however this one fits. People follow people, even for an auto responder series this is true. If your not there what reason does anyone have to remain on it? Our favorite “list” is from a blogger, his personal blog is his auto responder series. He does sell products occasionally and can do this because people enjoy reading about his daily life.
If you can use your auto responder to make people feel, or constantly provide information of value chances are they are going to remain on it. One of the series we receive give us a good laugh quite often. He also provides information of interest in every one.
Internet marketers can use more than one method of list building. Each person has to choose the one they feel will work better for them. However if you don’t provide something the people who opt in have an interest in they won’t stay long.

 | | Thanks Lynda, Marlin, and Don. Don it looks like it's time for the next blog. We are using a different approach for the newest list. It is not important how people get on the list just what they are shown after they are on it. |
| | | | | Thanks for a great observation Dennis, as usual you have stirred questions in my own business and created a to-do list in my mind, or maybe that should be the other way around. Either way, thank you my friend. TB&L |
| | | | | Very interesting blog. I appreciate information like that. Thanks for the input. I will sure to do better from your advice. |
| | | | | Awesome information ,Sometimes we forget that its ourselves we need to brand . |
| | | | | Thanks Deborah, now I need to write a new blog explaining how to do it cheaper. The idea is to build a list how much it costs doesn't matter. As long as interest is created people don't care how they get on it. |
| | | | | Yes building a list and building trust is the key to internet marketing. Thank you for sharing Dennis. Hope you have an amazing day. |
| | | | | Thanks Jeffery. We like sharing what we know and have experience with. For those not building a list, we believe now is the time to start. |
| | | | | Great information Dennis. Thanks and continued success. |
