*What do brand identity and integrity have to do with you?

Brand identity is how others perceive your brand. This comes from the advertising and a thousand little ways which can enhance your brand in the eyes of the customer. Business cards, fliers, and actually carrying and using a product in front of prospective clients are parts of your identity. There are thousands of subtle ways for customers to see you as part of your brand.

*How does brand Integrity affect business?

Every brand makes a promise. Keeping this promise is brand integrity. If you don’t deliver on your promise in reality you have no brand or integrity. Even if it is only one brick and mortar store or one person running a MLM business it either has brand integrity or it doesn’t.

*Can people easily identify your brand?

The colors, fonts, and visual design must be as consistent throughout your system as possible. Colors and design should be as close as possible on every social network. It should also be consistent with your paper products. Fliers, business cards, and even billboards if you use them should be consistent. . It doesn’t matter if you own a MLM business or a brick and mortar store; your brand has an identity.

*When you look around you what brands stand out and why?

They will be the ones who have made their identity “stand for what they do”. Ford motor car company™ is a good example of this. When the other major United States car companies required a bail out, Ford did not. They are also living up to the (integrity) promise made by the founder which was “a vehicle affordable to the masses.”

*Do you use your own brand?

Using your own brand builds trust. In a sense it is like word of mouth. The difference is those you talk to can receive visual input as well. By using your own product you are endorsing it. You are letting others know it works for you.

*Iconic branding

Building an iconic brand (identity) is not a simple matter. Done correctly customers will know you from your logo alone. They will know what to expect without words and be able to easily identify you. With an iconic brand you stand apart from the crowd.

*content branding

Content branding (integrity) is also one way to stand out from the crowd. Unusual content for the medium you use can pull people to you. It does however need to be unique within your niche and well written.

Great blog my man Dennis. We understand how important integrity is. Why spend the time building a brand, if you have no integrity. Eventually people spread the word and your brand is destroyed. Thanks for sharing my friend.
