Many brands are marketing and advertising for the holidays starting October 31st. Some understand their brand umbrella covers marketing and advertising. Those who are in business and most of those who are not; either represent a brand or are one.  Ok Dennis don’t beat around the bush. Even MLM marketers are brands. The smart ones are self-branding.

Market the brand

Even in advertising, you should be marketing your brand. Your brand colors and fonts should play a role in all advertising. With marketing, you are letting people know the value of the company. For self-branding people this is the value of YOU.

What value do you bring

Those who are self-branding need to concentrate more on their personal value. It isn’t as much the product with you. For companies with products advertising shows the value of the product. What need does it fill and why should someone buy your product over the product of your competition.

Plan and strategyAdvertising & Publicity

Every company should have a holiday marketing plan and strategy. You need to consider timing. When is your audience in front of their smart phone or computer? Many people do their shopping early, and there are three holidays depending on country and religion. Another consideration is can those using every form of internet access utilize your ads and marketing?

Shopping carts

How many people see shopping carts as part of marketing? If you don’t you should. Is your cart easily accessible on every device? Is it large enough to be seen and used on mobile devices? The whole idea behind marketing and advertising is to create buyers. What value do you have if a prospective buyer can’t do what you want them to do? More on this for those who contact us.

Low cost advertising solutions

Free advertising is not always the best solution. Most people I realize use it as much as possible. Even we do. Sometimes though, a low cost advertising solution will gain you more views and advantage than free. Over the years, we have used and can recommend both high value free and low cost solutions.

Know your audience

From what religion and background does your audience come? Is your target market base broad, and does it come from all groups? You can choose to target one group or target them all.
