Brand Marketing tips and tools causes and incentives

Lisech eMarketing brand logo

With the proper marketing techniques and tools you will be able to bring in customers who are willing to do business with your brand. In my other articles you should have learned how to choose your sub niche, the importance of an auto response system or a proximity marketing system. You should have also learned the value of an email signature.

How can you separate yourself from the crowd?

This time we are going to talk about using causes and incentives as a way to show customers real value beyond your product or service. This fits under the category of, “If you can't be first, find something that separates you from other businesses in the same niche.”

Branding using Causes

It is simple to use a cause to convince people you are worth doing business with. Promote a cause you choose along with your business. Think about the major corporations. They use this all the time.

So how can you make it work for you?

Using myself as an example, I have had my personal cause since before I started my business. In reality it is why I started the business. I have been taking in abused and homeless people since 2010. Now, you don't have to go to this extreme if you choose not to. I am to the point now to where I can help other causes as well.

What then can you do?

Pick any of the hundreds of thousands of GoFundme's or other funding programs until you find one you believe in. Start promoting it along with your business. This gives people a feel of what you believe is important to you and those who agree will be more likely to become your customer.

This is one of the causes we believe is worth helping

Most people by now have probably seen the GoFundMe that Sigurd Skeie has been promoting. About 70 percent of the worlds population love children. They don't like to see them getting the short end of the stick as in Zarah Angelica's case.

An incentive is giving a person more than they expect. It can be anything of perceived value to your audience. I have seen people offer trips, baubles, give to causes in a buyers name, and extra work, for no extra charge. It is my belief though that the incentive people would like best is being able to recover most, if not all, or possibly more than they spend buying your product or service. Since this couldn't possibly be done immediately, say 1/12 every month for 12 months.

Is this even possible?

To understand this you have to have a background in actuary tables. What actuary tables do is predict the future outcome. If you understand what something is worth today, it is easy to predict how much it will be worth in a year, based on all the factors involved. Insurance companies have been doing this for years.

How about both?

Once again I am going to show by example. For those who become customers for any of Lisech eMarketing services, or personal branding services we will donate $10 in your name to Zarah Angelica. Your payment will also help fund the Lisech cause, and we will give you digital currency to the value of what you spend, 1/12 of which you will be able to sell for cash most likely within 24 hours. The rest you will receive 1/12 each month for 11 more months. © October 2, 2018 3:30 PM CDT Dennis Thorgesen, Lisechglobal business and brand consulting, Lisech eMarketing, all rights reserved.
