Why Personalize Marketing

Lisech eMarketing logo

The most important reason to personalize marketing is people buy people before they buy from them. Personal stories show your beliefs. The way you are going to find like minded people is by showing the world who you are.

You will find as you start sharing what you believe in the people who will gravitate to you do so because they resonate with your story. There will be no two stories exactly alike, people do though go through many of the same trials, and successes you do. Those people will want to become friends or associates. They are where you will find the most buyers.

The importance of choosing the right friends

You will find that your earnings are in about the center of your ten closest friends. If you want to be a super achiever make friends who are earning the numbers you would like to see or more. When I was learning anything I always chose people to learn from who were earning more than I dreamed I would in a year.

Super achievers

What has amazed me is those who become super achievers are good at balancing. By this I mean they balance life, business, and exercise. You would be amazed at how little time they spend focusing on business once they start seeing success. Even while becoming power houses in their businesses you will find they have three areas of focus.

To learn about how to become a super achiever I recommend reading Tom Riach's IBO content and books. They contain everything you need to become one.

Super achievers thinking

The three areas of their focus are the same as their balance.
They want to keep the reason they started the business to live their life dream, so one of the focuses is family. Of course they have to focus on the business as well. What they realize that to live their dream it is a necessity. Exercise keeps their body and mind in the best shape possible.

To become a seller who people are going to listen to, make sure to learn from the best. Today the best at sales, build funnels (not always internet traditional) that convince people of the value of their product or service. In every case they are self branding before they are company branding. They are looking for buyers, not people who they need to force feed sales.

A little of my story

Dennis Thorgesen owner of Lisech eMarketing

Many people know that my family, by this I mean parents, grandparents, and children have returned to the dust of which they were created. My step siblings are also in this group.

I became wheelchair dependent in 1991. This is because I was totally paralyzed from waist down. It was caused by an accident. Believe me, I wish I could say this was the only accident. In 1996 I was run over by a pickup truck driver who didn't see the wheelchair. This caused further damage to my legs and took all my memories for nine years. Today I can stand to transfer, and walk a few steps with assistance. Not all of my memory returned. The loss of all but the English language still today to me personally was the greatest loss.

In 2010 I started taking in women who were coming out of abusive relationships. In time newer people were either homeless or would have been if I had not taken them in.

This has become the cause in my life. Others in bad situations are helped out as well. Many of the people I know have heard of Zarah Angelica. I have done what I can to help with her cause as well behind the scenes. There are many times I have shared her needs for Sigurd Skeie, who is in charge of raising the money the family needs. Everything Lisech eMarketing does with the exception of creating logos, creates a donation in the buyers name to this cause.

The group I have now, started with a man his wife had kicked out. He came with one of his daughters. A few weeks later his wife dropped off the other two children for Easter vacation. She never returned to pick them up, so they have been here since.

A few months after taking the man in he had a heart attack. A week later he had a Transient ischemic attack (TIA). This is the fancy name for a mini stroke. Since then he has had 23 more. Due to this he has been unable to hold down a job. Each time the attacks take a little more of his mobility.

I have had people when talking on the phone go, what is all the noise about? My office is in the middle of everything because I take care of the children. I do have a “quiet” place where I move to as soon as possible when on the phone.

I have had a few short term residents in the past two years who fit the about to be homeless category, those were able to move on within six months or less.

The last group who came in was a young mother of preemie twins with her babies. She lived at the hospital from late April until July. Her babies were at high risk for Sudden infant death syndrome (Sid's), on monitors, and one was on oxygen. At this point they have become healthy. They are due to move on in either January or February.

This time I have accepted donations of food, clothing, diapers, and toys. One of the people on IBO (Oniece Gregory) donated clothing when the “vacationing children” came in with enough clothes to last three days.

At this point Lisech eMarketing is providing all the necessities, we have no lack of food, clothing, diapers, or toys at this time. This year we have also done lots of repair work to the house. Most people move every five years, me included. I rented the house out when I was gone, so it needed some repairs. The house is now wholly owned by the cause trust. It took 19 years to accomplish this.

One thing I learned years ago is people coming from abusive situations and those who are homeless really want a hand up, not a hand out.

People who come here are required to donate their time somewhere in town. This is to give them a feeling of self worth. It also helps them market their talents. As much as possible I want them donating their time doing something they are passionate about. They earn their way by donating their time.

For the past 16 months I have put away as much as I can to keep the cause operational after I become dust. This was put before my own wants and a few of my needs. I am at the point now where my needs are being met, and a few of my wants.

Today the Lisech cause trust holds assets in four classifications. One pays residual income, another is growing in value, two of the assets pay a daily dividend, both of these have increased rapidly giving real world currency payouts within the past two months.

Micky Gramlin has been sharing ways to help build a nest egg. Although she doesn't claim expertise in this area her ideas are sound. Especially when as she recommends, you talk to your professionals about each.

This isn't bad considering when I short sold the last offline company in 2016 I was in debt, and still owed on the house. No matter where I have been in life, the one thing that has defined me is I never give up. This follows me into business for my clients as well. ©November 19, 2018 2:00 PM CST Dennis Thorgesen for Lisech eMarketing, All rights reserved.
