What does online personal/company branding entail today and why is it important?


Everything a person or company in business does today touches a part of what their brand entails. I like to call branding the umbrella that covers everything a business does daily to find new customers and keep existing ones.

The world today is a buyers market. Buyers want a buying experience, they don't want to be sold. Where is their mind today, “What is the value to me of doing business with you?”


Why does Lisech eMarketing talk so much about branding?


Advertising and marketing fall under the brand umbrella. Lisech eMarketing was designed to be a marketing company. The simplest thing to market is a brand. If you have read any of my other articles you will find I market people for the most part. Those people I bring forth have personal value which they share. Their products have value to other marketers. They are open and honest about who they are and why doing business with them will add value to your business.


What are the four disciplines needed to build an online brand?




Internet technology is probably the first thing to factor in. This would be a website. Apps for those who use them, and in the near future dapps.




This would include the logo. Graphics for the website. Then social media for marketing. Also any graphics needed for advertising.

I have heard many people say they do just fine without content. My problem with that is how do you get people to know, like, and trust you or your company without content?




This includes market research. You have to have some kind of idea of who is going to buy your product or service, this needs narrowed down to the people who are going to have the most interest and actually open their wallet to buy your product.

These four disciplines have to work together


To see the results you want, all of these disciplines have to be working together to create a viable brand. The disciplines must be part of the owners thinking when a brand is being put together.


There are other considerations as well


Are you going to support a cause? If so is it one to which your potential customers will relate. Depending on the type of business you are in, when starting is the best time to look into incentive programs.
