Free Grammar Check

Published on 6/11/2014

As a professional blogger, one of the things I do when it comes to writing is I make sure I have thoroughly read over my work. Then once I've checked for any errors, I always go ahead and do a free grammar check over at Grammarly.
I started doing a grammar check when I had one of my readers point out an error that I made. I always want to be professional so I try to always make sure my posts are my best work before I submit them.

Overall, I am pretty good at catching most errors. Spelling errors are pretty easy to pick up on since most sites, WordPress, have a little red line go under the words that are spelled wrong. This signals you to correct the spelling.

But grammar and sentence structure can be a bit more difficult to catch. Sometimes I have a tendency to not use enough commas so my sentences seem to run on. And I also get confused with the meaning of some words. And like most people, I find that I miss a question mark here and there as well.

So I always do a quick free grammar check before hitting the submit button.

When you use a sentence grammar checker, it helps correct any errors and makes your writing more professional.

Here are some of the issues that a proper grammar check can help with:

  • Spelling
  • Sentence structure
  • proper use of punctuation
  • plagiarism
  • grammar
  • style
  • overuse of a word
My life is much easier since I've been doing a free grammar check on my blog post.

Do you use a Grammar checker? If so, Have you found it helpful?

If you are interested, you can visit my website for my personal review of Grammarly.
