How To Get More Sales With Your Blog

One of the most effective ways that I have learned to get more sales with my affiliate blog is by not selling. I know this really doesn't seem to make much sense. But I promis you if you stop selling and start helping, you will begin to get more sales.

When I first stopped blogging I would write product reviews. And I did what I was taught by the Guru's which is to write product reviews and recommend my products. So I did. I wrote review after review, but I didn't get sales.

Since this wasn't working for me, I started doing some research and figure out how to get more sales. I realized that when people buy products, they buy because they are wanting help for a problem.

So , I stopped pitching my products. Instead, I started focusing on the problem that my product would solve.

And I changed my writing style as well. Instead of writing as an "authority", I started writing conversationally. I started sharing my personal experience and how I had a similar problem to my readers. I would write almost as if I was having a conversation with a friend.

Next, I would share what worked for me, which of course was my product.

Once I changed the way I promoted my products I started seeing sales. So now, I don't sell my products, instead I share a solution to a problem. I let folks who read my blog know I'm looking out for their best interest.
