The Perception in the MInd

The old saying "the mind is a terrible thing to waste" is something that mankind wrestle with and neglect time after time.  The mind is the seat of where perception is realized or distorted.  We formulate our views on life and death and even the management of our health.  That is why death and the taking care of life before death is the hardest subject to talk about.  The topic of life insurance is pushed into the background and health insurance is avoided because in our mind we think that we will live another day and spend another dollar.
What am I saying?  When we run our businesses, we run them with a certain perception in our mind about life and death and our well being, about ethics and non ethics.  Some of us are consistent in our perception and some of us are hypocrites.  Some of us use our perception just to make money and that is it.  If we could live in the recesses of each of our mind; it would be like a nightmare or a world full of wholesome knowledge and enlightenment.

What do we do with enlightenment?  Do we do like fools walk on it or like scorners, scoff at it or like wise men take it in and change our world and others for the better.  Moreover, when the time to put in place the most important things in life for the better, do we take enlightenment and use it to help us matriculate into the best life or do we do like fools walk on it and cry later when the whirlwind of trouble comes.  This is true whether in business or putting our house in order for death!

So the mind and its perception could be good or bad, depending on what has been place in motion in that perception.  Some take their perception and become rigid like iron and eventually become scorners or some take their perception and let enlightenment enter in and are flexible and become season wise men or prudent men, with the true perception sharper than an eagle and bolder than a lion.
