Healthcare at a Glance

Now we are in 4 days of the healthcare and over 100,000 people signup, we have not heard any reports on it being a failure.  So now is the time for anyone to get free quotes and compare plans.  Please be like the ant and prepare ahead of time before the holidays and all is forgotten.  Or we will find ourselves at the last minute waiting in line and hoping to be included in this cycle or this year's Open Enrollment which ends February the 15th 2015.

They have some plans that pay 90/10 with no deductible and max out of pocket $1500; they are at a very reasonable price.  I remember selling health insurance before the Affordable Care Act.  I would do my quotes and if the person was in bad health I knew that it was a hard sell, and they had annual caps and the deductible was so unreachable with the high premium that I just would hope they needed it bad enough to get it.  Their kids would be bump off at 18 or 21 years of age, unless they were in college.  The premiums would escalate every year.  They did not have preventive exams free like now.  So what one did was hope they did not get sick and go to the public hospital or under medicaid when one got sick.  Here in Atlanta, it was the Grady card!  However, I did not realized that that  cost the city so much money for people to go to the emergency room.
Plus, people would go to work sick because of not having healthcare.  With people making minimum wages, it was no way to pay for health insurance.  Even now, it still is rough with the wages but many now have that did not or could not afford.

The Thanksgiving spirit and Holiday spirit is to give and help people be enabled.  And the constitution clearly states, life, liberty and the pursue of happiness(hmmm) for everyone.

A famous statement Paul, the apostle, made, I become all things to all men in order to win a few.
