Despise not Small Things!

The years of life I have experienced, I am seeing more the value of not despising small things.  What do I mean by small things?  In the eyes of man, there are some people that are important and some people mean nothing.  However, these very people that mean nothing might later in life, right before our eyes, become great or do great things in secret.  I go no further than the ant.  A creature so small but yet does incredible things for the colony everyday.  A rabbit, small, and yet hard to capture while in its den.  A spider so little but yet it can get in places humans can not.
I think of Ted Turner, not coming from rich background and yet rich now, President Obama, from Chicago, social worker and yet graduating from one of the most prestigious schools and taught at that school, now president.  I go on to mention about David, a shepherd and yet became one of the greatest kings in history. Many times these people while arising to greatness was despised by people and misunderstood.  My brother David, as a king, because he loved helping the poor, when he gave to everyone equally a portion of meat and wine because they were celebrating him being king, his wife despised his actions.

So what is this thing about people, not liking equality and everyone having an equal chance at life?  It is what comes with being in the light and loving attention.  The problem is when we get so much attention, it is addictive and we tend to leave or neglect people we consider not important.  However, I learned, it is not good to overlook people we consider not important and treat special, people we think are going to be great.  Because God has this way of making us eat our words and showing us everyone is important and should be given equal opportunity to achieve or get the same benefits He bestowed on us!
