The unscrupulous want to keep control of college football

College football has been in under the control of greedy, power hungry, thieves from the beginning of the sport going big time and making a profit for the NCAA. Finally a playoff system is being proposed and manipulated. According to Ralph D. Russo writer for the AP college football the playoff teams are to be selected not earn their places in the playoff brackets. This means that the same bull that has gone on for years will continue.
If there is to be a playoff the teams with the best records should win their conference and move on to the first round of the playoffs. To ensure that the schedule strength bull does not play a role in giving a greedy college administration clown a leg to stand on the regular season game schedule should only include D-1 opponents.
This will dispel the myth that the SEC has a stronger schedule than the rest of college football because they play other SEC teams. The SEC has two sometimes three teams a year that are strong and the rest of the teams in the conference are no stronger than any other conference. The fools in the fan arena listen to the idiots in the analyst seat filling their heads with fluff.
LSU had to play an additional game before they met Alabama in the National championship game. Neither team was particularly strong in the 2011 season schedule with one D-II team on it, but because Nick Saban played an idiotic game plan the first time the two teams met LSU pulled off an upset. Les Miles is no better and the only reason they have won any titles is the rest of college football is racked with coaches that are more concern with their golf handicap rather than the welfare of their players.
Now I know the morons that are the real tip riders of the announcers will want to throw out some stats, so we will go to the data. Look at the LSU schedule: Oregon, Northwestern State Demons, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Georgia in the SEC Championship game, and Alabama in the National Championship. Wow it does not take much to fool a fool. How many SEC teams went to a bowl game? Now if you look at the data that is before you a team only has to win six games to become bowl eligible. There were several teams that did not get selected to a bowl game because they were not the popular choice. Bowl selections also include who can sell the most tickets to their own fans. You didn’t know that did you? Of course a team that has a large following in back water southeast will draw because in most cases they are the only game in town. There is no NFL team in most of the SEC’s territory. Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana are the only states with pro teams in that conference.
The only Quality game that LSU played in the entire season was the National Championship game. The quality of the rest of their schedule showed the teams were not quality and it will take too long to break down each team. To make the data support the argument I will get directly to the meat of my point. The games that are wasted on DII’s out of conference foes should be scheduled. Now the weaker teams in the conference can be played, but if the TV contracts that go to the NCAA and the school are paid to the most anticipated games then the quality of the sport will go up. Alabama has the same scenario there is no difference in the plan. They fizzled their way through media hype and got free press to uphold the supreme bull of the racist South East United States.
These student athletes are important to the game and the next level, but it is ok to exploit them because the bottom line is all that matters. In the name of keeping the control of corrupting the sport the NCAA is in the cahoots with the presidents and board of directors of all the major colleges and Universities. The corruption will never be cleaned up because there is too much money being made by all the people that are not touching the playing field.
It amazes me the number of parents that sacrifice their own children to see them get to a place where their children are not valued any more than livestock. You are allowing a few greedy clowns to place your sons at risk for the all mighty dollar. There is nothing more to it. Look at it if the money was not tied to it there would be no reason for them to have interest in your child. The student athlete has to use the talent to achieve the goal of obtaining that education and making a plan with choices to benefit him.
The money that they make during the college football season is crazy. Television contracts are in the hundreds of millions, and the merchandise and other collected money does not compare to the bodies that are lost and the players that don’t make it to the next level. If they can’t give the players a salary for playing while they are in school I think that a stipend should be collected and placed into an account for when they graduate or leave school not to return to play again. If they win a championship, then more money should be placed in the account. Hundreds of millions of dollars and they can know that these young men are suffering. They are showing you that they don’t care. That is why they don’t want guys like me involved in the game I can’t be bought. There are not many that can say that.
